Servo - Controlled Automatic AC Voltage Stabilizers of 'Hi-tech’ make are of 'Electro - Mechanical (EMS) type. The purpose of voltage stabilizer is to receive a fluctuating AC voltage of large amplitude & deliver an almost constant voltage, which remains within a very narrow band (± 1%) of the nominal voltage - quality of the AC voltage remains unchanged. The voltage variations, which have become a common phenomenon in current power supply system, cause havoc in modern complicated & sophisticated equipments. The voltage stabilizers are meant to take care of this problem & protect the equipments. They ensure longer life of the equipments & also drastically cut down electricity consumption of equipments leading to continuous reduction in electricity bills. Thus, they play an important role in energy conservation which is need of the day.


Why Use Servo Voltage Stabilizer? : 

Many times it has been seen that a minor fluctuation in voltage can cause the equipment to malfunction or even break down. Servo Voltage Stabilizer prevents all this by controlling fluctuations in input voltage and providing constant output voltage. GE POWER stabilizers are designed to suit input voltage requirement of individual customers. 


Single Phase Servo Voltage Stabilizer :

Single phase stabilizers are distortion free and give perfectly stable output even under severe conditions of unbalanced voltage. These are available to suit the input voltage variation (starting 120V) of individual customers, in capacities up to 30 KVA, all giving output voltage of 280 +/- 1%. 


Three Phase Servo Voltage Stabilizer :

Oil-cooled stabilizers are available in capacity up to 2500 KVA and air-cooled stabilizers are available in capacity up to 100 KVA. These can be either of Variac-type or Roller-type. These have input voltage variation of 240-470V, 270-470V, 300-470V, 320-470V, 340-470V and 360-470V, and output voltage of 440V +/- 1% or as required by the customer.
